 Bill Maltbie, Jr 

Bill has spent the last 23 years of his life in Executive Management and Entrepreneurship leading great companies large and small. He specializes in Operations Management and Business Growth having advised and consulted to over 95 businesses during startup and rapid growth phases from the smallest of startups to a $120MM+ Berkshire Hathaway company. He is also the former "third-in-command" of an $80MM, 2000-employee contact center company where he led the culture and operational changes that allowed the company to double in size three years in a row. His real estate experience includes over $300MM in commercial investment sales, and he owned and operated a Lease Administration Data company serving such clients as Credit Suisse First Boston, Guess?, Inc., Washington Mutual Bank, Cushman & Wakefield, CB Richard Ellis, Wet Seal, Shoe Carnival, and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

New Home Marketing Services was originally a startup client of his, where he helped the previous owners develop their business and marketing plans, pro forma financials, assisted in the “ideation” of the Kaleidoscope and Oculus-7 products and prepared the full investor package which led to NHMS receiving funding from several investors.

 

Bill is a graduate of St. Xavier Jesuit Boy’s Preparatory High School in Cincinnati, Oho, and graduated Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian of his class at the Defense Language Institute of Monterey, CA, in Russian Language and Russian/Soviet Area Studies, also receiving the Provost Marshal’s Award for Academic Excellence. 

 

He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Hero Hope, a charity serving the emotional support needs of wounded veterans; he is a volunteer for the Yellow Ribbon Support Center, providing comfort packages to those men and women "in harms way;" and he provides pro-bono translation and interpretation services for the local Russian-speaking community related to immigration issues.

 

Prior to his business career he was a Russian Cryptolinguistic Operator with the US Naval Security Group and National Security Agency and a decorated Veteran. Bill is fluent in Russian - which he speaks at home every day.
